Co-Owners Bill Larney and Steve Litrenta brought together their vision of what the perfect bar would be like….A place with awesome food, lots of beer on tap, plenty to do while hanging out and any sports game you want to watch on the tube. So…they bought one of their favorite bars, knocked out some walls, added some games and TV’s, and added a top notch kitchen too! With these two…only one name was truly fitting-Looney’s Pub.

The doors to the original Looney’s Pub in Canton, MD opened in the spring of 1993 virtually transforming the quiet neighborhood of Canton into the hippest neighborhood overnight! Then, almost ten years later, the guys decided it was time to expand their horizons and bring the best bar around to the town of Bel Air. With another transformation complete, the pair opened Looney’s North in the fall of 2002. Today, Looney’s North is the biggest and busiest restaurant, pub and entertainment center in the area.

This past winter, the place doubled in size adding the “Looney Bin” where live music is featured nightly, bands from all over the East coast headline on the weekends and where you can watch over 200 TVs at any one time! And best of all, you can still enjoy the awesome and huge portions of food from the best kitchen around too…Looney’s Bel Air is the new #1 spot in the Baltimore metro area! Join us any night!

Then in March of 2009, we heard the cries from out Neighbors from the south in Howard county, and opened Looney's Pub @ Maple Lawn. It is a state of the art facility w/ the same Looney's neighborhood bar charm.. with over 90 HDTV's, an awesome stage w/ state of the art sound & production, and a huge dining area's. With capacity well over 400 people, Looney's Pub South will become the destination for everyone south of the Baltimore border. Same great menu with added surprises, the best Happy Hour around, a nice banquet facility, an awesome kids room w/ free playstation3 and xbox 360 stations, and the East coast's best bands every weekend.
